I know what Danny (Dante shortened) Lee's name is. And sure, I didn't play a lot under Lee, but that's alright--I enjoyed the game for what it was--why do you think I stuck around? I didn't stay for him, I stayed for my love of basketball and for my teammates. Besides, I didn't mature enough in my body to do much of anything in basketball until college, and even then I only got to play intramurals--but I had fun with it, and still do. I have no qualms about how my HS career in basketball went. I sat the bench for Jeff Adkins...but I'd go to war for that man...so there goes your logic on that. Lee has the right to step in and say what is needed to be said, when there is order that needs to be kept. However, when Adkins has his kids under control, and Lee steps in saying he thinks that Jeff "can't control his kids on the bench" and tries to step in where there's no need--that shows it's all about CONTROL for this man. I'm not living my HS days anyways--I'm done w/college and I'm an accountant, so I could care less about living vicariously. I want to see the kids at Coeburn now have the same types of role models that I had--and Danny Lee is not one of them.

As for the whole thing w/me going back to school and becoming a school administrator, I wouldn't mind it, but why would I take a step back from my accounting experience and my soon to be had CPA? It'd be kinda dumb of me to do.

btw--love the fact that two newbies got on this board, took the time to create names, did enough research on finding out my name and who I am to come on here and disagree with me w/o a leg to stand on. The thing you are forgetting here is that you are not the only person with any so called knowledge about this situation. A lot of people read this forum and the things you are saying about Mr.Lee could be very damaging to the man. I know he could care less about what you think of him, but I don't ever recall him putting in the papers how bad of basketball you were!

With all the bad stuff that he's done to other people in the time I've known the man, just so he could get a leg up on someone else, he deserves whatever bad things comes to him. If it comes about by something I say, or an opinion I share about him--then that's up to whoever acts on it. I have an opinion about the man based on a 16 year track record of what I've seen with my own eyes and heard with my own ears, and this is an open forum and I'll share the opinion if I wish.

And I know I wasn't very good at basketball, so you can quit harping on that. I had my moments, but I wasn't very good overall. And like I said, this opinion I've got for Danny is not motivated by basketball, though that's a part of my beef. I don't care how he treated me honestly--I knew my future wasn't there and I tried to enjoy myself in spite of all the crap he put me and others through. He once told about 3-4 players on my team when I was in JV that the only reason he didn't cut us is because it kept the team's average GPA up--that is the closest I ever came to quitting. But like I said, I wasn't going to quit something I enjoyed in spite of him and his idiot assistant at the time (who's still an idiot mind you) just because of something he said to purposefully hurt me and a few of my other teammates. It would have been too easy on him. Like I said--it's all about him and him having control over others. If you don't see that then you're near-sighted and snowed.

I must go home--I've worked since 8AM today. Good day sir! A local college, like UVA-Wise, pays a basketball coach less than what a high school teacher makes, and it's not even close to a what Lee is banking as a principal. That makes no sense at all. What college A.D. would hire a high school coach with a few years of experience in a mediocre basketball program.

I hope you know that was made with "tongue in cheek" to The Craziefather. I know that very well. I Know AD Director Dale Burns and I talked to one of his other coaches on Monday night. Mr Burns knows all about Mr. Pitts and has coached against him when he was at Tn High and Pitts at Science Hill.
